Orientation and Pre-Registration Schedules for Returning Students

Freshman Orientation, Pre-Registration at Los Fresnos United Scheduled

A Freshman Student/Parent Orientation at Los Fresnos United Ninth Grade campus is scheduled Friday, Aug. 14, at the LFU Cafeteria.
Parents are encouraged to attend the sessions, because they are designed specifically for them.

Students whose last names begin with A through L meet from 9 to 11 a.m. Students whose last names begin with M through Z meet from 1 to 3 p.m.

Pre-registration for new students to LFU will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, until Friday, Aug. 21. Returning students to Los Fresnos CISD are already pre-registered. No registration will be held on Aug. 14 because of Orientation.

LFHS Sophomore Camp Scheduled Friday, Aug. 7

Los Fresnos High School sophomores and their parents are invited to attend Sophomore Camp Friday, Aug. 7, at the LFHS Cafeteria.

Sophomores whose last names are between the letters of A through L will meet from 9-11 a.m., while sophomores whose last names start between the letters of M through Z will meet from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

The camp will give students and parents an opportunity to meet the LFHS administration, counselors and staff. They will also have a chance to meet with some of the many clubs, organizations, sport teams, band, UIL Academic teams and representatives to see if students are interested in an organization. Campus tours are welcomed.

LFHS principal Ronnie Rodriguez will cover some important information from the Student Handbook, Student Code of Conduct and review the expectations of LFHS students.

Pre-Registration for New Elementary Students Announced

Pre-registration for new students new to Los Fresnos CISD is scheduled to begin Monday, Aug. 10.

Pre-registration will continue until Thursday, Aug. 20. Hours of pre-registration are 9 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m.

Students returning to Los Fresnos CISD elementary schools have been pre-registered.

Pre-registration will continue until Friday, Aug. 21. Hours of pre-registration are 9 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m. Classes begin Monday, Aug. 24.

Students returning to Los Fresnos CISD middle schools have been pre-registered.
