New Turf, New Season!
- Updated: August 21, 2015
Football practice resumed on Monday, August 3, 2015 in preparation for the 2015-2016 Falcons Football season. Student players were eager to break in the new turf as their first practice kicked off on the LFHS Mini-Stadium turf. The Mini-Stadium which is located on the east side of the high school property recently received an upgrade in the playing surface over the summer break. In addition to a new playing surface the Falcons are expected to be wearing new uniforms and helmets for the 2015-2016 football season. The excitement is building as the Falcons have only weeks to go before their first home match-up against Edcouch-Elsa on Friday, September 4th at 7:30 p.m. and on a new playing surface at Leo Aguilar Memorial Stadium.
