Football Players, Cheerleaders Assist at School Morning Dropoffs
- Updated: October 2, 2015

LFHS Falcon football players greet students arriving at Palmer-Laakso Elementary School.
Elementary school students dropped off by their parents Wednesday morning, September 23, 2015, were surprised to find members of the Los Fresnos Falcons varsity football team ready to greet them.
Football players and cheerleaders were at six elementary schools today – Las Yescas Elementary, Laureles Elementary, Olmito Elementary, Palmer-Laakso Elementary, Dora Romero Elementary and Villarreal Elementary – to open doors for vehicles bringing children to school Wednesday.
Players and cheerleaders helped at Lopez-Riggins Elementary and Los Fresnos Elementary last Friday. Their reception was such a hit with the schools, so other schools were added for Wednesday’s drops.
Many football players gave children high-fives and brought smiles to their faces to start their days. More photos online at www.flickr.com/photos/losfresnos.
