Veterans Invited to Numerous School Ceremonies November 11

Calling all veterans: Los Fresnos CISD schools want to welcome and honor you on Veterans’ Day Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Eight schools are planning ceremonies that day, and veterans are the focus at each event. Schools are inviting veterans who are related to students, and many schools welcome all veterans. Staff members who are veterans will also be recognized and honored.
The schedule of ceremonies is as follows:
Los Fresnos Elementary, 8 a.m.
Resaca Middle School, 8 a.m.
Palmer-Laakso Elementary, 9 a.m.
Dora Romero Elementary, 9:30 a.m.
Olmito Elementary, 10:20 a.m.
Lopez-Riggins Elementary, 10:20 a.m.
Los Cuates Middle School, 1 p.m.
Liberty Memorial Middle School, 2:20 p.m..
The Los Fresnos High School Navy JROTC Color Guard will be participating in seven ceremonies throughout the day.
