- Updated: January 15, 2016
Keeping healthy and active in the fall and winter requires some planning ahead. Outdoor physical actives like running, cycling and outdoor group classes can become uncomfortable for many individuals.
For your safety and comfort the City of Los Fresnos has brought the Community Health Outreach Program exercise classes indoors temporarily. Morning classes are currently being held at the Los Fresnos Boy’s and Girl’s Club located at 900 North Arroyo, Los Fresnos, TX 78566. Morning classes are offered Monday-Friday at 8:30am.
Evening classes are currently being held at the Los Fresnos Community Center located at 203 N. Brazil St. Los Fresnos, TX. 78566. Evening classes are Monday and Wednesday at 5:30pm.
Additional services offered through the Health Outreach Program are Blood Pressure and BMI screenings, follow-ups for participants needing assistance in lowering their blood pressure and BMI and/or nutritional education and support. All classes are free and taught by licensed instructors and professionals.
