Football tailgating has returned for a third straight year.
Los Fresnos Falcon fans brought their barbecue pits and the schools entertained the crowds for Tailgate activities which began with the Sept. 23 game against San Benito.
Tailgating will be held at the Los Fresnos Elementary playground across the parking lot from Leo Aguilar Memorial Stadium. Fans who wish to bring their barbecue pits and grub may enter the grounds starting at 4:30 p.m.
School cheer groups, dance groups, and musical performers will be taking turns on the stage for the home football games on Sept. 23, Oct. 14, Oct. 28 and Nov. 4.
The LFHS Stars Dance team, which held a dance clinic for elementary school students two weeks ago, will perform at each Tailgate along with the younger dancers. The LFHS cheerleaders and LFHS band are also featured.
The LFHS Theater Arts group students will play music and be DJs for the events.
Falcon fans who wish to Tailgate should call 956-254-5098.
