The students will perform at an All-Valley clinic and concert Feb. 17-18 at the Harlingen Performing Arts Center.
Two students earned first chair honors – Diego Maciel from Los Cuates Middle School in the trombone and Yahir Hernandez from Resaca Middle School in the drums.
The four other students from LCMS who earned the honors were: Noel Chavez, 4th chair Tenor Saxophone; Jason Randolph, 6th chair Trumpet; Gavin Pesina, 10th chair Trumpet; and Crystal Ortiz, alternate Piano.
