The City of Los Fresnos Community Health Outreach Program and Walmart have partnered to bring the community a free one hour Zumbathon every first Saturday of the month. The Zumbathon will begin at 8:30am and takes place in the Walmart parking lot located at 1004 West Ocean Blvd. Los Fresnos, Texas, 78566. Free refreshments and snacks will be provided to all participants curtsy of Walmart.
What is the Community Health Outreach Program?
The City of Los Fresnos offers a free Community Health Outreach Program within its community. The program offers a verity of free classes/activities, nutrition support, blood pressure screenings, BMI screenings and follow-up care to both men and women 18 and older.
Exercise classes are currently held Monday through Saturday at the Los Fresnos Memorial Park located at 900 N. Arroyo, Los Fresnos, TX 78566. The March exercise class schedule offers a variety of free exercise classes, classes include Cardio Kickboxing, Zumba, Body Sculpting and Fitness Blender. All classes are taught by certified instructors.
Basketball Open Gym is offered to the City of Los Fresnos Community Health Outreach Program. Basketball Open Gym takes place at the Los Cuates Middle School located at 32477 State Hwy 100, Los Fresnos TX. 78566. Lap Swimming is also offered as a part of the program.
Once enrolled in the program participants are able to participate in all classes/activities at no charge as offered by the City of Los Fresnos.
All classes are for adults 18 and older. For the safety of both participants and children we ask that participants please not bring their children to exercise classes.
