The Friends of the Ethel L. Whipple Memorial Library located on 402 W. Ocean Blvd. recently received a grant from Wal-Mart for their upcoming Summer Reading Program.
The grant award was received on March 13, 2017 via mail in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Pedro Maldonando, Store Manager, Los Fresnos Wal-Mart store 2765 has always been a generous supporter of the Ethel L. Whipple Memorial Library events and programs.

The $1,000.00 grant will help the library promote the program and provide incentives, snacks, and supplies. The Friends of the Ethel L.
