31st Annual Leo Aguilar Memorial Golf Tournament

The Leo Aguilar Foundation which awards the Leo Aguilar Memorial Scholarship Fund to students of Los Fresnos High School to help further their education kicked off their 31st annual golf tournament on Saturday, March 11, 2017.
This year’s event was held at the challenging South Padre Island Golf Club located at 1 Golf House Dr. in Laguna Vista. Registration began at 7 am, with tee-off at 8 a.m. Golfers from as far as Dallas were on hand to enjoy breakfast, 18 holes of golf, lunch, awards, and door prizes.
Larry Cantu stands alongside Roger Cisneros of Dallas, Texas. Cisneros was also a sponsor and donor at the Leo Aguilar Memorial Golf Tournament.
The tournament was a four man scramble with 4 person best ball in two flights. Trophies were awarded for 1st through 4th places and nearest to the pin. Registration cost proceeds and other donations went to continue awarding scholarships to deserving LFCISD students.
