Student Groups Recognized; Counselor Hired

Six student groups were recognized at a Special Called meeting of the Los Fresnos CISD Board of Trustees Monday.
The groups recognized included the LFHS/LFU Band, Mariachi Nuevo Halcón, Girls’ Soccer, Boys’ Wrestling, Falcon Law Club and Engineering Club.
Celest Gonzalez was approved as a new counselor for Los Cuates Middle School.
Trustees also approved the 2017-18 work calendar for manual trades employees who work 260 days.
Trustees held a Policy Committee meeting after the Board meeting.
