Young Gifted and Talented Students Complete 4-day Camp

More than 160 students in grades 1-4 completed the Gifted and Talented Discovery Camp Thursday at Los Fresnos High School.
The students displayed their talents at a show at the LFHS Cafeteria.
GT students in grades 5-8 will take part in a Discovery Camp June 12-15 with the performance scheduled at 2 p.m. June 15.
Students participated in two classes between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., going to one class in the morning and a different one in the afternoon.
Classes included Leadership, Food Science, Bank on It, Art, Chess, Rocket Science, Robotics, Technology, Movie Production and Folklorico.
