- Updated: June 30, 2017
Annual Celebration Scheduled for this Saturday, July 1, 2017
The Los Fresnos Chamber of Commerce with the help of Walmart, the City of Los Fresnos, Los Fresnos P.D., Los Fresnos C.D.C., Los Fresnos E.M.S. and Fire Department, and Los Fresnos C.I.S.D. will host a Fourth of July celebration at Memorial Park this Saturday, July 1st.
The celebration is to begin at 6 p.m. with the presentation of colors by Boy Scout Troop 61 & Girl Scout Troop 351 following some opening remarks and invocation.
There will be no parade or fireworks this year as in previous years, however there is still much fun planned for the entire family!
Train rides, a giant slide, moon bouncer, super swing rides, watermelon slices courtesy of Walmart, and music all FREE for the community. There will also be a variety of vendor and information booths.
Everyone is invited to come and enjoy a picnic style celebration of the historic event which eventually led to the formation of our great country, the United States.
