Five LFHS Band Students Make All-State Band

Five members of the Los Fresnos High School Band made the Class 6A All-State Band at the Texas Music Educators Association Area G Band competition Saturday in Corpus Christi.
Senior percussionist Edric Salazar made the All-State Band for the third straight year as First Chair.
Other students who made All-State Band included:
Israel Flores, Second Chair Percussion
David Arredondo, Third Chair French Horn
Jenna Capps, Third Chair Clarinet
Fernando de Leon, Sixth Chair Clarinet
Also participating in the Area competition were Fabiola Abuja, Edgar Muller and Brendan Perez.
The five All-Staters will perform at the TMEA State Convention in San Antonio Feb. 17.
