- Updated: March 30, 2018
by Eddie Cruz, Director Los Fresnos 4H Club
It was big win for Los Fresnos 4-H member Caitlynn Cruz who had a great time at the 79th annual Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show. Her market hog was chosen Grand Champion of the entire show. Out of 585 FFA and 4-H exhibitors from all 4 counties of the Rio Grande Valley who competed it was Caitlynn’s 4-H market hog project that emerged as the winner. Caitlynn was also awarded a $1,000.00 dollar scholarship and took home two silver belt buckles in the process. Caitlynn thanks God and all her sponsors for their support. Congratulations to Caitlynn Cruz and all Los Fresnos 4H club members for a great show year!
