Inspiration for academic success: My parents inspired me to do my best academically. Showing them my report card with straight A’s made them extremely happy and I used that as motivation as I continued my academic career. Everything I did since I was in elementary school was to make my parents proud of their child for whom they sacrificed so much.

Study habits: I don’t have intense study habits because I pay attention during class and retain most of the information. However, I usually tend to look over my notes for a few minutes right before I take a test and throughout all my years of schooling, it has been proven to be enough.

Plans after college: I hope to acquire the highest level of education, so pursuing a Ph.D. is my goal.

Career goals: I desire to work within the automotive industry since cars have been a great interest of mine ever since I was young boy. I hope to one day make a more efficient form of transportation.

Advice to younger students to succeed academically: Every student should have friends who have the same drive to be successful. Friends are very important as you enter high school because you can always count on them to inform you over things you missed or they can be people you study with. As the natural competitor I am, I always aimed to score higher on a test than my friends. This has allowed me to keep my grades up while having some fun.
