Little Caesar’s Job Applications Available at Los Fresnos Pharmacy
Action4 President and CEO Tom Keeler and Account Executive Sarah Stinson gave an informational presentation about advertising with their company at the general meeting of the Los Fresnos Area Chamber of Commerce held Tuesday, March 26. Sarah explained advertising benefits to the group and showed examples of a monthly schedule of commercial spots available to customers.
Chamber members approved the minutes of the meeting held last month, welcomed guests and new members and thanked Julia’s Restaurant for catering the lunch.
Under calendar of events on the agenda, it was announced that Little Caesar’s Pizza is planning to open in town and employment applications can be picked up at the Los Fresnos Pharmacy. The Miss Los Fresnos Court of 2012-2013 will be serving for an additional term through 2014. In addition, the chamber is forming a 4th of July Event Committee and is looking for volunteers. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held April 13 at 7 p.m. at the Church of Christ. The Chamber recognized and welcomed the newest Board Member, Diana Salazar. The current Board officers include: President Carmen Amaya, Vice President Dr. Adam Lalonde, Secretary Manuel Almanza, Treasurer Amalia Saldivar and Directors Filiberto Pereira, Stanford Knowles, Barbara Collum and Hector Martinez. Debra Badeaux informed those present that there are two vacancies available for the Board of Directors and are available to business owners, organization leaders and ministry leaders with a paid membership. Debra Badeaux is Executive Director of the Los Fresnos Area Chamber of Commerce.
Next month’s speaker will be Dolores Salinas, a representative of the Better Business Bureau.
