The 2018 Christmas parade is ready to roll this Saturday in Los Fresnos.

The annual event will start at 5 p.m. and will end at 6:30 p.m. this year under a “Song of Christmas” theme.

Val Champion, executive director with Los Fresnos Chamber of Commerce, said the parade is held with the participation of the whole community.

Anyone willing to be a part of such celebration is urged to contact the chamber by calling 956-233-4488.

After the parade, the monthly Under the Stars Artisans Market will follow at the city’s Memorial Park.

The market has just completed its first year since it was launched in October 2017.

Dozens of vendors, entertainers and school groups have been participating in the outdoors market that has become one the city’s main attractions and it has been giving people something to do on a Saturday of each month.
