Every Kid’s Christmas Celebrates Third Annual Event to Give to Hundreds of Local Children

The annual Every Kid’s Christmas event affords the community an opportunity to donate and give generously with the goal of making sure that every child in the Los Fresnos area enjoys a happy Christmas. The program’s slogan being; “No Child Forgotten”.

The program held two recent fundraisers with 100 percent of the proceeds going towards the annual Every Kid’s Christmas event. The first of the recent fundraiser events being on December 1st via a 5K Color Run which was sponsored by local businesses Wet Paws Pet Grooming and Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home and a second on December 9th via a Chalupa Bingo which was sponsored by Los Fresnos Rotary Club and Los Fresnos Church of Christ.

On Sunday, December 16, 2018 the program celebrated it’s third annual event hoping to top last year when they were able to three Christmas gifts to over 700 children.

The December 16th toy drive was hosted by Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home and the event provided Christmas activities such as arts & crafts, nail & face painting, cookie decorating, and even a photo opportunity with Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus!

The event, coordinated by volunteers, brought many smiles and laughter to the families and their children who were present.
