The Los Fresnos Fourth of July Celebration will be held on Wednesday, July 3, the day before Independence Day.
The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. at the city’s Memorial Park on North Arroyo Boulevard and it will end with a fireworks display set to begin at 9 p.m.
A patriotic costume themed contest will be held with prizes going to the top three best costumes fit for the occasion.
Also, train rides, musical chairs, face painting, free watermelon slices and tug-of-war event will be going on through the evening of fun and music.
