Anyone wanting something to do this weekend should head behind the Los Fresnos Rodeo grounds to look for bargains or to grab a meal or two.
The Buckin Good Time Market will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug, 24 and Sunday, Aug, 25.
Some 30 plus vendors will be on hand, selling a variety of items such as plants, ceramic pots, jewelry and books.
For those with an appetite, there will be BBQ, pizzas, popcorn and Mexican food.
Kathy Gilb, one of the market owners, said this is the third time they will have the outdoors event.
She said they started the market with the idea to give people something to do.
“Our mission is to create a market that is fun for the vendors and fun for the consumers,” she said. “We are also planning to work with area vegetable growers so they can bring their produce in the fall.”
