LFHS to Perform at Conjunto Festival Oct. 18-20

Los Fresnos High School will perform at the 27th Annual Conjunto Festival at Memorial Park Oct. 18-20.

The event is sponsored by the Narciso Martinez Cultural Arts Center and was held in San Benito for many of the first 25 years of the festival. The event will be held at Los Fresnos for the second time.

Fifteen bands are each scheduled to perform for almost an hour throughout the festival.

The LFHS Conjunto Halcón, which was named as the 2017-18 No. 1 high school Conjunto band in Texas, will kick off the Saturday schedule at 5 p.m.

Admission is $6 per day and free for children 6 years of age and younger. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.
