Ten Los Fresnos High School seniors received their Certificates of Completion from Texas Southmost College during a Pinning Ceremony held at the TSC International Technology, Education and Commerce Center Dec. 13.
Receiving their certificates were Antonio Botello, Michael De Agven, Ximena Garcia, Alissandra Garrido, Brenda Jimenez Perez, Heidy Manterola-Hernandez, Denzel Rodriguez, Jorge Perez-Salazar, Kaylee Salazar and Lidia Vasquez.
The students were bussed to TSC during the school day for their classes during the fall semester.
They received their pins from TSC CNA Program Coordinator Celia de la Garza and CNA Instructor Ofelia Hess. Also participating to congratulate the students were TSC Board of Trustee member Eva Alejandro and TSC President Jesus Roberto Rodriguez.
The LFHS students were the fourth cohort of students from LFHS in the TSC CNA program. They are now eligible to take the state CNA Certification exam to become eligible to work in a medical facility.
