Martinez, Salazar and Jones represent at SPI Showcase

South Padre Island-Over the weekend, The Los Fresnos basketball program was well represented at the Rio Grande Valley Best of the Best Showcase.
On the boys side, sophomore Gerry Martinez and freshman JJ Salazar represented the boys program while Sarahi Jones represented the girls program.
Jones was a part of the East team as they beat the West team 96-81.
On the boys side Salazar and Martinez suited up for the Blue team. Martinez scored 35 points in a 123-119 loss on Sunday.
“It is super fun, coming in we knew this was going to be a really good game no matter what,” Martinez said. “These guys are the best in the Valley, it was a high scoring game.”
