Los Fresnos Soccer Is Set To Kick Off The 2021-2022 Season

The Los Fresnos Falcons and Lady Falcons soccer teams are set to kick off the 2021-2022 campaign. Both Programs are coming off great seasons that included playoff appearances and a District Title. So what to expect from both teams.
The Lady Falcons finished last season with an overall record of 19-7-1 and a district record of 10-4, finishing 2nd in 32-6A. A season that ended with a deep playoff run, suffering a loss to the Round Rock Lady Dragons in the regional semifinal. Looking to repeat the success of last season. The Lady Falcons have a tough road ahead. Some key matchups include facing off against San Antonio Taft and McHi in the non-district calendar.

For the Boys Soccer team, which also is coming off a successful season look to continue the momentum of last season. Finishing with an overall record of 17-4 and a district record of 12-1 the Falcons entered the postseason as the number one seed in 32-6A. In the State Playoffs, Los Fresnos lost a close matchup to Laredo Alexander in the Area Round. Similar to the Lady Falcons, the Falcons also have some powerhouses between them and the Playoffs. Some Matchups to look out for in the non-district calendar include facing off against Laredo United, PSJA North, and a non-district matchup against 32-6A Rival San Benito.

Coming off strong seasons, both the Falcons and Lady Falcons aim to continue and build upon the successes of last season. Both Programs also hope to capture District Titles and make a possibly deeper run in the Playoffs.
