The Lady Falcons who were coming off a big District win over Donna North looked to continue their winning ways. From the tipoff, Los Fresnos played with sheer dominance and maintained control from the start. The Lady Falcons held on to win 56-20 over Brownsville Rivera. Key Players for the Lady Falcons included Sarahi Jones, Maritza Ortega, and Gaby Garrido.

The next matchup was Boys Action as The Falcons looked to kick off district play with a win. Rivera quickly struck first to grab control and maintained it during the first quarter to make it 15 to 7. The Falcons answered back, however despite Los Fresnos out-scoring Rivera in the second quarter, The Raiders led 24 to 17 at the half.
