Community Enjoys 4th of July Celebration

The community of Los Fresnos gathered at the Memorial Park on the 4th of July to celebrate Independence Day. Everyone enjoyed free water rides, free swimming pool access, free watermelon, entertainment, contests and games and free snow cones.

Sack race winners: Billy Goodwin,14yrs, 1st place of Los Fresnos United, Jimmy Lopez, 13 yrs, 2nd of Liberty Memorial. Second and younger race: Pedro Martinez, 9yrs.,Dora Romero Elementary, 1st place - Jorge Espinoza, 8yrs, Paredes Elementary, 2nd place.

The Los Fresnos Volunteer Fire Department handed out firehats and goodies, HEB were sponsors and passed out free sunscreen and additional HEB goodies.
