Did You Attend the 20th Annual World’s Championship Shrimp Cook-Off?

Gates opened at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, November 3rd for the 20th Annual World’s Championship Shrimp Cook-Off. Located in Las Palmas Shopping Center in front of Bealls Department Store on Highway 100, this culinary tradition was expected to be even bigger and better!

Dozens of professionals and amateurs expertly prepared over one ton of fresh wild caught Gulf shrimp in a wide variety of ways from boiled to coconut to cocktails to fried and scampi. While munching on tasty shrimp attendees were able to shop for jewelry, collectibles, art and more from the vendors set up on the grounds.
