Christmas Parade & Festival This Saturday!
- Updated: December 13, 2013
Santa will soon be here! The Christmas Parade and Festival will be on Saturday, December 14, 2013.
The Parade will start at 5:30 p.m. The parade will begin at City Hall and proceed east down 2nd Street to Arroyo Boulevard, then left towards the high school.
It is recommended that all parade entries stick to the official parade theme: “Spirit of Christmas” and that all attempts should be made to “light” parade entries including walking groups.

Candy or advertisement may not be thrown from the floats for safety reasons, but may be passed out by parade participants walking along with the float and distributed along curb edges.
Plaques are given for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in float, marching, walking, equestrian and drill team categories.
Immediately following the parade, the Christmas Festival will be celebrated in Memorial Park with free rides and entertainment. Vendors will have warm, tasty food for sale. The highlight of the festival will be Santa, who will be distributing gifts to all nice children.
