The body’s balance of two appetite hormones leptin and ghrelin become thrown out of order when a person needs more sleep, even after just one night. Another factor is that people who don’t sleep well may not exercise as well do to feeling of being tired.
2. Heart disease
A lack of sleep can lead to high blood pressure.
People who do not get enough sleep have more stress hormones in their bodies, a condition that’s bad for the heart. Stress hormones can damage blood vessels. This can lead to http://www.webmd.com/hypertension-high-blood-pressure/default.htm high blood pressure, which can lead to heart disease.
3. Diabetes
