- Updated: May 22, 2015
Los Fresnos High School has received and installed the first ambulance simulator in a Valley high school. The ambulance simulator, which is the rear half of a regulation ambulance without the cabin and vehicle parts, will serve students in the LFHS Emergency Medical Technology program.
EMT students demonstrated the use of the Ambulance Simulator at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 14, at Room 207 at LFHS.
LFHS students in the EMT program are eligible to take the national EMT exam. LFHS students have passed the exam at a rate of about 90 percent over the last six years. Students took the national exam on Wednesday, May 13, and results will be released Thursday, May 14.
Many joined recognizing this significant milestone for the newest equipment that will prepare LFHS students for the medical profession.
