Students Begin Preparations for Fall Seasons
- Updated: July 17, 2015
While many Los Fresnos High School students are enjoying their summer away from school, others are ready to begin practice in their sport or activity, or have already begun.
Although fall classes begin Aug. 24, students in cross country, football and volleyball sports, as well as many more in band, cheerleading and dance/drill teams have either begun plans for fall seasons or will begin soon.
All student-athletes must have taken physicals and done insurance paperwork prior to the first day of practices. For more information, visit the LFHS Athletics Medicine website here.
Here is a rundown of each of them:

Forty-three members of the team are going through a camp by the American Dance/Drill Team trainers from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. July 6-10.
The trainers are affiliated with the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl, which will be held Jan. 1, 2016, in Orlando, Fla. They may issue invitations to members of the Stars to participate in the halftime activities. Last year, seven members of the Stars participated in the bowl game dance routine.
