Los Fresnos Pony League Softball teams made the city proud recently when they travelled to Highlands Texas, right outside of Houston to compete in the 2015 Pony League World Series.
Here are the teams and results:
Frenzy (8 Year Olds) finished Top 10 out of near 30 teams that competed.
Frenzy (10 Year Olds) finished Second Place out of 24 Teams and beat Valley rivals from Harlingen and Weslaco along the way!
Boom (14 Year Olds) finished Top 10 out of 19 teams. This was Los Fresnos Boom’s third time to attend the World Series tournament.
On behalf of the City of Los Fresnos, congratulations to our Pony League Softball girls!
