LFHS to Co-Sponsor Volleyball Camp July 27-31

Los Fresnos High School and the South Texas Juniors Volleyball Club will co-sponsor the Summer Volleyball Camp July 27-31 at the LFHS Back Gym for student-athletes in grades 7-12.
Participants in grades 7-9 will hold camp from 2-5 p.m., while students in grades 10-12 will hold camp from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The registration fee of $75 includes a camp t-shirt.

The 12th Annual Summer Volleyball Boot Camp was held for student-athletes in grades 7 to 12 from June 27 to July 18 at the LFHS Back Gym. The camp ran for nine three-hour sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
Vertical jumping, strength, speed, conditioning and volleyball skills were the main focus of the Boot Camp. The workouts primarily included the use of medicine balls, boxes, bands and free weights. The main focus was strength, improved volleyball skill and injury prevention.
