2nd Annual Community Back-to-School Fair Held at LFU Dome

The 2nd Annual Los Fresnos CISD Community Back-To-School Fair was held from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016 at the Los Fresnos United Dome, located at 33790 FM 803. Parents and their school-aged children braved the heat and arrived early to participate in this yearly affair held inside the cool shelter of the LFU Dome . Many sponsors were on hand and donated hundreds backpacks, sets of school supplies, and uniforms on a first-come, first-served basis. Gently-used uniforms were given away. Immunizations were available for students as well. Vendors provided health information and services at the Health Fair to bring health awareness to the community, friends and family.
