2016 LFHS Graduate Alyssa Cosme Receives Prestigious TILF Scholarship

Alyssa Cosme, a member of the 2016 Class of Los Fresnos High School, has been awarded the prestigious Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Endowed Scholarship in the amount of $20,000 from the Texas Interscholastic League Foundation (TILF),
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must have participated in a UIL Academic State Meet event. Cosme, who is now attending The University of Texas at Austin, advanced to the UIL state meet in Spelling but did not place among the medal winners.
TILF provides scholarships to students who excel in UIL academic contests. TILF awarded 258 new and 213 continuing scholarships this year totaling more than $1 million.
