The City of Los Fresnos Community Health Outreach Program and Walmart have partnered to bring the community a free one hour Zumbathon every first Saturday of the month. The Zumbathon will begin at 8:30am and take place in the Walmart parking lot located at 1004 West Ocean Blvd. Los Fresnos, Texas, 78566. Free refreshments and snacks will be provided to all participants curtsy of Walmart.
What is the City of Los Fresnos Community Health Outreach Program
The City of Los Fresnos Community Health Outreach Program offers the community options to get and stay healthy FREE of charge. The program offers a variety of free classes/activities, nutrition support, blood pressure screenings, BMI screenings and follow-up care to both men and women 18 and older.
Exercise classes are currently held Monday through Saturday at the Los Fresnos Memorial Park located at 900 N. Arroyo, Los Fresnos, TX 78566. The September exercise schedule offers a variety of free exercise options, instructor led classes include Cardio Kickboxing, Zumba, Body Sculpting, Functional Training, and Fitness Blender. All exercise classes are taught by certified instructors.
Other Free options for exercise include basketball open gym and lap swimming. Basketball open gym takes place at the Los Cuates Middle School located at 32477 State Hwy 100, Los Fresnos TX 78566.
Once enrolled in the program participants are able to participate in all classes/activities at no charge as offered by the City of Los Fresnos.
The current schedule offers 15 activities to choose from!
All classes are for adults 18 and older. For the safety of both participants and children we ask that participants please not bring their children to exercise classes.
