Students Beautify DAEP Campus with Donated Plants
- Updated: October 21, 2016
Students in the Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP) went gardening Wednesday, October 5th, to beautify their campus.
Thanks to a $500 donation from Lowe’s in Harlingen, the campus received plants, flowers, potting soil, and gardening equipment to make DAEP look a little prettier.
Lowe’s store manager Christ Smith responded to a request by the alternative center to help beautify the campus.
“This will go a long way to help us make DAEP a little prettier,” DAEP administrator Glafira Braga said.
