- Updated: December 16, 2016

Children festooned as Christmas gift bags join the procession at this year’s annual Los Fresnos Christmas Parade.
The City of Los Fresnos and Los Fresnos Area Chamber of Commerce presented their Christmas Fantasy parade and festival on Saturday, December 3, 2016.
The Christmas lights parade displayed a Christmas fantasy theme this year.
Following the parade, the community converged on Memorial Park across from Los Fresnos High School to take part in the Winter Festival which traditionally follows the parade every year.
There was live music and entertainment, an obstacle course, train rides, a wall climb, and an inflatable bouncer as well as food, game sand information booths.
Santa rode into the festival on a semi truck to give away candy bags to all the children and pose for pictures.
This yearly event usually marks the beginning of the holiday season in Los Fresnos.
