Healthy and Strong

City-Los-Fresnos-Logofit

Exercise is very important to maintain a healthy and strong body. The types of exercise we do is also very important. Our exercise regimen should include both cardiovascular training and strength training to maintain strong bones, muscles and organs.

Cardiovascular exercise such as walking, running, cycling, swimming, dancing, kick boxing and sports training are great to improve your endurance while strengthening your heart and lungs.

Strength training exercises such as body weight squats, lunges, planks, push-ups, and weight training workouts are great to maintain a healthy metabolism, bone density and an overall strong body.

Change is good
If your current exercise regimen doesn’t include either one of these two very important types of trainings, I’d highly encourage you to consider adding it into your current routine. Changing up your exercise regimen is also a great way to stimulate new muscle groups and prevent boredom.
