LFHS Teams Introduced at Board Meeting

Los Fresnos High School fall sports teams were recognized at the Los Fresnos CISD Board of Trustees meeting Monday, December 19th.
Director of Athletics Patrick Brown, who is also the head football coach, introduced the coaches for cross-country, team tennis and volleyball. Those coaches then introduced their student-athletes who were present. Brown introduced the football team as well.
Trustees also approved personnel recommendations, including: Dr. Griselda Wells, Director of Special Services; Edlin Costilla, English/Language Arts teacher, Los Cuates Middle School; Angelica Reyes, Spanish teacher, Los Fresnos United.
In other action, trustees: approved minutes for the November 17 and November 28 board meetings; approved budget amendment #5 for fiscal year 2017; approved report on board member training requirements; accepted a donation of a police vehicle for instructional purposes; were presented district reports, including portfolio, tax eollection, and summary and expenditure status reports, as well as monthly disbursements and budget amendments.
