Rodeo Committee Present Scholarship Awards to Students

The Los Fresnos Rodeo Committee met at the Lions Club Hall located at the rodeo grounds on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. The rodeo committee presented scholarship award certificates to seven students from Los Fresnos, Brownsville, Harlingen, and Rio Hondo.
The scholarships awarded valued at $1,000.00 and could be used in combination with other scholarships awarded. The seven students receiving the scholarships were: Angel Fernandez of Brownsville, Daniel Castillo of Harlingen, Andres Vasquez & Yaseli Flores of Rio Hondo and Briana Garza, Tayler Mancillas, Samantha Ramirez of Los Fresnos. The rodeo committee provided refreshments and snacks for students, parents and visitors.
Not pictured: Daniel Castillo of Harlingen South High School, Andres Vasquez of Rio Hondo High School, Yaseli Flores of Rio Hondo High School, and Tayler Mancillas of Los Fresnos High School were each awarded a $1000.00 scholarship certificate.
