Campus Teachers of the Year Announced

A Los Fresnos CISD Elementary and Secondary Teacher of the Year will be announced at the Employee Awards Banquet at 6 p.m. Friday, April 28, at Los Fresnos United Cafeteria.
Fourteen campus Teachers of the Year have been announced at each campus. They include: Las Yescas Elementary: Victoria Valdez; Laureles Elementary: Geronimo Martinez; Lopez-Riggins Elementary: Deanna Bode; Los Fresnos Elementary: Norma Almanza; Olmito Elementary: Graciela Rubio; Palmer-Laakso Elementary: Elisa Garza; Rancho Verde Elementary: Sandra Zuniga; Dora Romero Elementary: Blanca Ordaz Molina; Villareal Elementary: Janie Calvillo; Liberty Memorial Middle School: Denjuami Barker; Los Cuates Middle School: Kristina Cranick; Resaca Middle School: Tania Caballero; Los Fresnos United: Amanda Ellison; Los Fresnos High School: Lonnie Martinez.
A video will be shown at the banquet highlighting each campus recipient.
Also to be recognized are retirees, Paraprofessional and Manual Trade Employees of the Year, and service awards for employees who have reached 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service.
