Chamber Get Together Vibrant with Color and Culture

The Los Fresnos Chamber of Commerce hosted a get together on Thursday, May 11, 2017 with the Los Fresnos High School Folklorico Dance Team and the LFHS Mariachi Nuevo Halcon as the main attraction.
After the general formalities Chamber Presdient Ray Ortiz introduced Folkloric Dance Club Instructor Aurora Gomez-Solis and Latin Music Director Hector Bermea who shared their goals and accomplishments during the 2016-2017 school year.
A lively and colorful show followed with the Folklorico Dance Team taking first billing. Mariachi Nuevo Halcon provided refreshing music from Mexican culture and engaged the attendees with lyrical stories while the dance team reqrouped and changed wardrobes for the final part of the show. LFCISD, Los Fresnos HS and the Los Fresnos community have much to be proud of in the Folklorico and Mariachi clubs.
