Hopes & Dreams Collectibles Hosts Book Signing

A meet and greet was held at Hopes & Dreams Collectibles located on 104 E. Ocean Blvd. on Saturday, May 13, 2017.
The event included a book signing by Author Sylvia Weaver Rivera of her children’s story “Sarah and the Little Spider Prince”. Sylvia was born in San Benito Texas, raised in Los Indios and graduated from San Benito High School. She started writing professionally in 2014 and had a children’s story published by Sarah Book Publishing in 2015. Sylvia believes in encouraging children to create self expression through art, writing and story telling. She believes that is where ideas and inspiration can come from.

She also writes an online Blog that focuses mainly on Arts and Crafts. In her spare time, she enjoys creating a wide variety of crafts, painting on canvas, fishing with her husband, nature photography, reading, and of course writing children’s stories. Refreshment and snacks were served at the event and door prizes were given away.
Sylvia also took some time to read an excerpt from “Sarah and the Little Spider Prince”.
