Website, App Now Available to Access School Menus

Parents can now access what meals will be served at every school through a computer or mobile device.
Southwest Food Excellence, which has contracted by Los Fresnos CISD to improve student nutrition, now has a website and an app to allow for easier access to school breakfast and lunch menus.
The official portal has detailed menus, nutritional analysis, allergen information and more.
On the website http://lfcisd.nutrislice.com, parents and students can view menus for every school for every day of the school year.
The first dropdown menu asks users to select a school, and the next promo asks users to select breakfast or lunch. A calendar for the month then pops up with all of the options for each class day. Students select which of the breakfast or lunch entrees they prefer for each day.
The app “Nutrislice” is available for download on the Apple Store for iPhones and on the Google Play store for Android devices.
The app will first ask users to a select a school district. Like the website, the app then asks users to select a school, then select either the breakfast or lunch menus.
Menus are unique to each school. Elementary school menus are different for Pre-Kinder students and for students in grades K-5.
