Falcon football fans are encouraged to join the Tailgate Zone that features student entertainment before every Los Fresnos football game this year.
The first Tailgate Zone will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the Los Fresnos Elementary playground, located across the parking lot from Leo Aguilar Memorial Stadium.

Fans can bring their vehicles with barbecue pits as early as 4:30 p.m.

Entertainment for Friday’s event features the Los Fresnos High School marching band, Stars, and Cheerleaders. The Family Engagement Office will have games for children and spirit items to give away to children.

Future Tailgate zone activities in October will feature all nine elementary school dance and cheer teams, middle schools including bands, cheer teams and dance teams. The LFHS Folklorico and Mariachi is also scheduled to entertain in October.

Los Fresnos High hosts Harlingen South on October 6th. The football game starts at 7:30 p.m.
