2018 Friends of the Ethel L. Whipple Memorial Library Scholarship Recipients

Congratualations to this year’s Friends of the Library Scholarship Recipients Gina Monique Camacho and Jarod Perez.
To be eligable for the scholarship applicants had to volunteer at the library in some capacity for a period of time during his or her high school career, be a senior scheduled to graduate in May of the applicable year, maintain a 2.7 GPA or higher.
In addition, applicants had to be UIL eligible at the time the application was submitted, as well as when the scholarship was awarded and planning to attend a two- or four-year accredited institution in the summer or fall of the applicable year. Resume, transcript, two letters of recommendation, & essay were also required.
