Los Fresnos Falcons lost it first game of the season but the team was looking to improve at its next game.
The Falcons played the Montwood Rams on Friday, Aug, 31 and lost by three points, 16 to 13 in a non-conference game.
Coach Patrick Brown said he was disappointed with the result.
“We have great defense, a new quarterback and new lineman,” he said. “I used to work in El Paso so I know the team we played against.”
Brown said he was looking at other games and was hopeful about the current football season.
“We are gearing our team for other games,” said the district athletic director and football coach who is now in his third season here. “We are looking to make it to district this year.”
The Falcons played LJB Austin in a second non-conference game last Friday at the State Capitol.
