All that is needed is a desire to learn a new talent, skill or computer program – skills that can be used for a lifetime. Students of any age can participate.
The Academy of Lifelong Learning, a partnership between Texas Southmost College and Los Fresnos CISD, will provide a variety of new, affordable, fun and conveniently located non-credit continuing education classes to residents in the Los Fresnos area.
Most classes will be held at Los Fresnos High School and Los Fresnos United, except for a skateboarding class that will be offered at the Los Fresnos Skate Park. The skateboarding class is open to those 12 years of age and older who wish to learn about the fundamentals of skateboarding.
Registration for the spring session of the AofLL will be held at the LFHS Library from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and also Thursday, Feb. 7. Classes are planned for the summer as well.
